Another year just passed. What did you two actually accomplish together?
Not the things that happened to you. The things you both chose, planned for, and made happen. If that list feels shorter than you'd like, it's not that you don't want those things. It's that "we should really do that" never becomes a plan with a date on it.
In this live masterclass, I'll teach you exactly how to make next year the one you're actually proud of.

On purpose, or by default
Most couples spend more time deciding what to watch tonight than deciding, on purpose, where the next ten years of their life are actually going.
You talk every day. Dinner. Schedules. Whose turn it is to load the dishwasher. But the bigger conversation keeps getting pushed to a someday that never quite arrives.
So here's what happens instead:
The "someday" goals stay someday
You find out your partner's been dreaming about a big goal you never even knew about
You say yes to whatever comes up, instead of what you actually wanted
The exciting stuff keeps losing to whatever's urgent this week
You wake up five years from now wondering where the time went
An amazing life together doesn't just happen. It gets built, on purpose, by two people who actually decided what they wanted and started making it happen.
I spent fifteen years doing this professionally. Then I pointed it at my marriage.
I'm Kara. For over fifteen years, I ran projects, teams, and strategic plans in the corporate world. Setting goals, breaking them into real steps, keeping people aligned, and actually following through. It's what I was good at.
Then I started using the same approach on my personal life and my relationship.
What came out of that is a planning process my husband and I run through every single year.
Here's some of what it's built:
✓ Our first investment property purchased: one of those small wealth building steps that originally felt like just a “someday” wish.
✓ Completing a full gut job renovation of our home: exactly the kind of project that can quietly end a marriage, and instead it strengthened our foundation (pun very much intended).
✓ Major career pivots, for both of us: planned instead of panicked into. No living off savings or pulling back on the things we love to make it happen.
None of that happened by accident. Every one of them started as a line on a plan we made together.
We literally run an annual offsite and quarterly business reviews on our marriage. And yes, we get teased about it. But hey, it works.
More about me
My husband and I have been married for over a decade. We live in Salt Lake City with our very spoiled poodle. When I'm not planning our next big life goal, you'll find me visiting Nashville any chance I get, singing Taylor Swift at the top of my lungs, or in my kitchen perfecting the most delectable cookie recipes.
I'd love to teach you how to build a life you love with your person.
(Also, yes, this is us eating some VERY old frozen wedding cake. I’m a sucker for traditions.)
What happens during the masterclass
This is a live 1:1 session, just the two of you and me, where I teach you the entire Design Your Year framework. Not theory. The actual process, including the parts I've never written down anywhere.
You’ll learn:
✓ Why planning together changes everything, and what it reveals about each other even after years together
✓ How to dream big and still end up with a plan you'll actually follow
✓ The habits that make this a lasting part of your relationship, not another good intention
✓ The mistakes you don't have to make, because we already made them
✓ How to keep the momentum going all year, not just for one weekend
The session will take 90 minutes, with time for your questions along the way. I'll also send a short exercise beforehand to get you both thinking, and I'll record the session so an absent partner doesn't miss out.

Who is this for?
All couples are welcome here
Married, engaged, long-term partners, however you'd describe your person. Bring whoever you’re doing life with.
Not a substitute for therapy
I'm not a therapist, and this isn't couples counseling. If something bigger surfaces during our time together, I'll say so plainly and point you toward the right kind of help. What this is: a practical framework, taught by someone who's used it in her own marriage for over six years.
Solo attendance is totally okay
Still getting your partner on board with this kind of planning? I can help. Attend solo, and I'll record the session for you to share, plus walk you through my recommendations for getting them excited to plan together.
My promise to you
Attend the session, and if you don't love it, email me within a week for a full refund*. No hoops, no argument.
$99
Limited spots available.
* Sessions are non-refundable for no-shows. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule.
When the session is over, I'll stick with you
You don't just walk away with a plan and never hear from me again. After the session, I'll check in quarterly with a gentle nudge to revisit your goals, additional resources to keep the conversation going, and a reminder that the plan only works if you keep coming back to it.
